Pj Harvey - White Chalk

Este disco es un pedido de nuestro nuevo fan del blog, melvin.
Discazo de la PJ Harvey que nos sorprendió en los 90's que con sus primeros álbumes, demostró ser una de las más influyentes compositoras de canciones de la década noventera, con letras que exploran temáticas como el sexo, el amor, la religión, el humor negro y la sensibilidad en la femeneidad. Pero esta vez desenchufa su guitarra y junto al piano, nos trae canciones melancolicas muy intimas cuya tematica es la soledad, este disco es tan triste que el "Ok Computer" de radiohead va a parecer un chiste, este fue es uno de los mejores discos del 2007.

At The Drive - In

Aca comienza mis aportes en el blog de mi pata MoMON, tengo discografias de varias bandas especialmente "post hardcore y indie" y que los estaba guardando como hueso de perro pero debido a la iniciativa del blog, comienzo con la discografia completa de At the Drive-In que fue una influyente "post hardcore" banda de el paso, texas, se le suele denominar como "el secreto mejor guardado de los 90's" que estuvo activa desde 1993 hasta el 2001. La banda durante sus ultimos años obtuvo mucha reputación debido a sus impresionantes presentaciones en vivo, hasta que llego su mejor y ultimo album en estudio Relationship of Command y la separacion definitiva para que cedric y omar se hundan en la experimientacion con su grupo Mars Volta pero eso ya es otro post xD, los miembros restantes formaron Sparta, las letras son musicalmente complejas canciones rodeadas por letras cripticas y fuertemente metaforicas. Influenciados igualmente por musica como la de Pink Floyd, Fugazi, Bad brains y especiamente Drive Like Jehu de donde obtuvieron su sonido caracteristico.
