Charles Bronson fue una banda de Power Violence norteamericana que estuvo viva desde 1994 hasta 1997, tiempo suficiente para que lanzaran muchos temas en formato de Splits (con Spazz, Ice nine, Quill, Unanswered), compilatorios, y uno que otro trabajo solitario, y por ultimo un disco doble compilatorio de toda su discografia "Complete Discocrappy", en el primero su discografia de todos sus trabajos, y en el segundo un compilatorio de sus temas ineditos.
En fin musica rapida y furiosa, que muchas veces no pasan del minuto por tema, hecha por lo que en aquella epoca eran chiquillos escualiados con muchas ganas de tocar.

Banda Post-Hardcore y de Rock Alternativo de Ontario, Canada. Una fusion de Hum, Filter, Tool y Sunny Day Real Estate, define el sonido de la banda. Publicaron 3 discos es su corta carrera que duro 10 años desde el 94 del cual sus 2 ultimos trabajos pude conseguir, "Take My Mask And Breathe" un disco impecable donde la banda muestra su capacidad de crear canciones melodicas y pegadizas llenas de emotividad donde destacan canciones como "General Warning" y "Superville". Despues graban el destacado "The Coastaline Fire" con grandisimas canciones como "The Hitchhiker" y "The Wall Burns", Densas guitarras y harta angustia en las letras son el principal atractivo, el disco termina con la estrategica "Virginia Creeper" con partes que algo minimalistas pero que sorprende con la fusion de guitarras acusticas y electricas mezcladas de forma exquisita del cual deja al oyente drenado del espiritu alternativo de la epoca de los tempranos 90's.

Jimmy Eat World

Banda Americana de Indie Rock, paso por etapas musicales marcadamente diferentes pero con algo en comun entre todas que es basicamente la capacidad de la banda a transmitir emociones a travez de su sonido. Debido al exito alcanzado por el "Bleed American" llegaron al estatus de banda mainstream pero antes de que sucediera eso la banda paso por varios estilos del cual se rescata el Hardcore Punk en sus inicios "One, Two, Three, Four" donde el vocalista principal Jhon Linton se lanza con un estilo vocal tipico de las clasicas bandas punk de los 80's con esto se lanzaron a grabar su 1er disco totalmente orientado al punk, aqui tambien se observa la 1era participacion vocal de Jim Adkins en "Usery", despues de esto la banda se topo y salio de gira con bandas como Christie Front Drive, Mineral y Jejune, del cual terminarian siendo una influencia directa y marcarian notablemente el futuro de la banda. Con "Static Prevails" la banda comienza a ser reconocida debido al particular estilo emo pero con rezagos del punk de sus primeros trabajos del cual destaca "Rockstar" que es quizas la mejor cancion del disco. "Clarity" es el disco que marco todo un hito en el genero y popularizo el emo de finales de los 90's junto a The Get Up Kids, es considerado como uno de los mejores trabajos de la decada, a la que recientemente se lanzo una realizacion del disco en vivo.

En sus comienzos tocaron como las bandas emo, post Hardcore tal como se muestra en el debut de la banda y en el triple split que realizaron con Race Car Riot y The Appleseed Cast, pero fueron poco a poco tomando influencias del Screamo y del Metal, del cual terminaron definiendo su sonido Post Hardcore agresivo, tal como vemos en su aclamado "Fuck With Fire" del cual hartos grupos plagiaron el estilo y lo amoldaron, por lo que se puede decir que con ellos influyeron tambien en el movimiento "Post Hardcore Comercial" es mas la cancion "Funeral For A Friend" es tomada para el nombre de la ya conocida banda. Siguieron evoluvionando su sonido y liricas publicando "Up In Them Guts" ya con un sonido mas dinamico que seria el puente para el disco mas reconocido y esencial de la banda "Mercy" del cual es considerado como uno de los mejores trabajos discograficos de nuestra decada.
