Surfin Wagner

A verrrrr por lo general estamos acostumbrados a que los mejores grupos de Surf provengan de lugares en que este deporte sea popular, costas de estados unidos, mexico, australia, etc. Surfin Wagner es una de las notables excepciones, son de Bolivia y el gusto por los embriagante sonidos de la guitarra surf los impulso a crear una banda de esta magnitud, haciendose la pregunta: SURF? pero no tenemos mar! y es que surf es una genero tan rico que solo el gusto por la musica (y las mascaras de luchadores) hizo posible este grupo. Su musica esta basada en el surf actual, con elementos de garage y punk, son sarcasticos, divertidos y con una buena actitud.
A finales del año pasado lanzaron el trabajo "Nueva Ola", si alguien lo tiene que me lo pase, por que aun no lo consigo. Pero les dejo sus dos primeros trabajos para que los disfruten.

The B Movie Monsters es una banda de Horrorpunk proveninte de Indiana, EEUU.
Pues nada, como muchas de estas bandas comenzo con un grupo de amigos con una severa aficion por las peliculas de terror y el punk rock, asi consolidan The B Movie Monsters bajo las caracteristicas comunes de toda banda que se jacte de ser fieles seguidores de Misfits. Aradia

Aradia es una joven banda, provienen de Reino Unido y el gancho principal es que se trata de la nueva banda del baterista de la extinta banda Fall Of Efrafa, por lo que pretende ser la continuacion de esta (recordemos que FOE solo se propuso sacar 3 discos y despues disolverse. Esto sucedio el 5 de diciembre del año pasado, en su ultimo show).
En fin volviendo a Aradia la diferencia principal es que esta banda cuenta con una voz femenina, por otra parte recuerdan mas el primer disco de sus antecesores al practicar el crust epico, almenos de momento es lo que han presentado en sus dos unicas canciones disponibles.

Exxasens es una banda un tanto complicada de definir. Si bien se asienta mejor en el Post Rock por su similitud con bandas como Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky y Mono, tambien contine elementos del rock progresivo y el Post-Metal, el sonido esta insirado en la grandesa del universo y los elementos que lo contienen, asi como tambien los viajes espaciales. Exxasens nace en el 2007 en Barcelona, como un proyecto particular del guitarrista Jordi Ruiz, quien compone musica con su computadora y su guitarra, estos temas se difunden via su cuenta en Myspace, y ante la aceptacion es que decide apostar por Exxasens.

NOFX

Formados en el 83 por Eric Melvin y Fat Mike, se han convertido en una banda punk de culto. Inspirados por el nombre de la banda de Boston: Negative Fx, sacaron su primer demo en el 84, que fue producido por el batero de Germs. Pasaron por Mystic Records, Wassail Records, Epitaph (del guitarrista de Bad Religion), y finalmente Fat Wreck Chords (sello del Fat Mike).

Sus canciones tratan, generalmente, sobre problemas sociales como el racismo, sexismo, problemas políticos: en 2004 formaron parte de un movimiento que se oponía a la reelección de Bush.
En 2006 iban a tocar en Lima, pero la mala organización del concierto hizo que no sea posible y muchos se quedaron con su entrada y con ganas de verlos tocar (si o no Momon?).
